Circular-Data.org: New EU Platform for DPP Collaboration

Digital Product Passports (DPP) are becoming a key tool in achieving a circular economy rooted in data transparency, traceability, and digital interoperability. In line with these goals, a new European platform has been launched — Circular-Data.org, as part of the CIRPASS-2 initiative.

What is Circular-Data.org?

CircularData is a digital ecosystem open to all organizations involved in the development and implementation of DPPs. The platform enables stakeholder networking, knowledge sharing, showcasing of services and solutions, as well as collaboration on innovation and the development of new business models. Its goal is to accelerate the transition toward a data-driven circular economy across the European Union and beyond.

Key features of the platform:
  • Networking among organizations across sectors and EU member states (currently over 200 registered organizations)

  • Publication of innovations, pilot projects, and DPP-related services

  • Showcasing real-life use cases of DPP implementation

  • Collaboration opportunities, including calls for partnerships and innovation-driven cooperation

  • Access to tools, standards, and regulations for DPP implementation
